PwnageTool will now give you different options. You will then be asked to choose where you want to save your custom firmware. Save it in the Pwnage folder you created in step 1. Please be patient as it will most likely take minutes.
This step is very important so make sure you follow the instructions correctly. PwnageTool will ask you to hold the home and power button for 10 seconds. Then release the power button while still holding the home button for 10 seconds. It is important to note here that before hacking your iPhone it is always a good idea to take a backup of your iPhone in iTunes so that in the worst case situation if things goes horribly wrong you can always restore the iPhone.
As you can see its not a single-click method but appears to be quite simple to use. The tool is currently available for download only for Mac users. So Windows stay tuned here at iPhone Hacks for further updates. Step 6: You will then be presented several options.
Under General, you can choose if you want to activate your phone. You should only do that if you are using an unofficial carrier and want to unlock your iPhone. Step 7: You will then be taken to the Cydia Settings page.

My App Store Apps are now happily coexisting alongside the unofficial ones. Cydia isn't yet as full of applications as the precious Installer.
But everything seems to work just fine. In fact, the whole iPod feels a little less sluggish than with the regular 2. Cydia updates over the air, just the the App Store will do one day.
