If you want a challenge, I would recommend playing on hard or nightmare, and picking the fabricator suit, so that you have to depend on crafting items to survive. The CE is the best of all suits, but if you want something more challenging, then pick the fabricator. It also doesnt shield you as much as the wastelander and roughneck.
